That was a very fun car to drive. I did a partial trade with the buyer of my 996 Turbo X50.
I sold the Speedster after I realized that usage was very limited and I did not have the space to keep it at that time.
1915cc engine with Solex dual carbs, 3.88 ratio 4-speed fully synchromesh transmission, tan interior and dash, German carpets, tan canvas top, tonneau cover, Nardi wood steering wheel, 4-lug chrome wheels, front disc brakes, steel reinforced fiberglass body on a 1967 VW platform with Vintage Speedster custom 2x4 inch 11-gauge steel frame.
