Custom orange build with Fusch rims and Golf seats - A personal restoration project
This 1969 Volkswagen Beetle represents a personal restoration project that I undertook in the mid-90s for my girlfriend. The car was purchased in rough condition and completely restored to create a unique German Look build.
The restoration featured a stunning orange paint job chosen by my girlfriend, complemented by Fusch rims and seats sourced from a Golf. This combination created a distinctive look that blended classic Beetle charm with modern touches.
The car became a family favorite, with my mom even driving it for several months in Nice and absolutely loving the experience. The 4-cylinder 1300cc engine provided reliable performance throughout its time in our family.
This Beetle project showcased the versatility of the classic VW platform and demonstrated how personal touches can transform a basic car into something truly special. The German Look style, popular in the 1990s, emphasized clean lines, modern wheels, and contemporary interior touches while maintaining the Beetle's iconic silhouette.
