The legendary rally champion - Italian performance at its finest
The Lancia Delta HF Integrale is one of the most successful rally cars ever built, dominating the World Rally Championship (WRC) in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It won six consecutive WRC manufacturers' titles from 1987 to 1992.
The Integrale features a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system with a viscous coupling center differential and Torsen rear differential. This advanced drivetrain, combined with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 engine producing 200+ horsepower, made it incredibly capable on all surfaces.
The Integrale's success wasn't just about power - it was about perfect balance, advanced electronics, and engineering excellence. The car's ability to adapt to different road conditions and driver inputs made it a favorite among rally drivers and enthusiasts alike.
This particular Integrale was part of my collection and represented the pinnacle of Italian automotive engineering. The combination of rally heritage, advanced technology, and everyday usability made it a truly special car to own and drive.
